Emre Can is reportedly edging closer to leaving Juventus in January, amid previous links to Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

According to Goal, as cited on the Mirror, the former Liverpool man wants to ‘resurrect his career’ after failing to break into Maurizio Sarri’s plans this season.

The German international has made just two league starts for Juventus following Sarri’s arrival.

Can was a regular for the Old Lady last season under Massimo Allegri, making 29 league appearances in what was his maiden campaign for the club.

However, the summer arrival of Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal has forced Can further down the pecking order in Turin.

Manchester United have been long-term admirers of the player and the midfield is said to be an area that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to strengthen going forward.

A move back to Bayern has also been suggested, but it remains to be seen if they will launch a move for the 25-year-old.
