Hertha Berlin have joined Celtic in the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama, africanfootball.com report.
The 28-year-old has struggled to feature under both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho this season and has been tipped to complete a move away from North London in the new year.
Former side Celtic have been linked with a move for the Kenyan, with Hoops boss Neil Lennon confirming his interest in the holding midfielder in recent weeks.
However, it seems as if the Bundesliga could be a possible destination for Wanyama, with Hertha registering their interest in the player.

Jurgen Klinsmann’s side currently sit 13th in the Bundesliga, three points off the relegation zone.
They’re fairly short of experienced heads in the middle of midfield, so Wanyama’s possible arrival could prove to be an excellent piece of business.
Whether it would be a loan or permanent move remains to be seen, but the Spurs man would definitely get game time in Germany.
A return to Celtic could also tempt the midfielder, and the Scottish giants can also offer Wanyama European football.
