Borussia Dortmund return home this weekend, after the long international break against the leaders of the Bundesliga, Borussia Monchengladbach in the Borussen Derby

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to get their first league win since the middle of September with their last three results ending in stalemate. Monchengladbach however, will be looking to continue their strong start to the season after winning their last four games while scoring an impressive 11 goals along the way.

Thorgan Hazard welcomes his former team to the Signal Iduna Park for the first time since his €25.5 million (£22.5 million) move after his four-year stay at Monchengladbach.

Dortmund look to welcome back Nico Schulz who hasn’t featured since getting injured on international duty in September, Paco Alcacer could face a late fitness test after missing the previous two games with an achilles tendon issue. They will be without Lukasz Piszczek who went off injured against SC Freiberg with a torn muscle.

Borussia Monchengladbach will be without Matthias Ginter (shoulder), Fabian Johnson (groin), Stefan Lainer (ankle), Tobias Strobl (knee) and Keanan Bennetts (thigh). Jonas Hofmann will face a late fitness test with Ibrahima Traore (ankle) also doubtful.

Dortmund are unbeaten in their last eight matches against Gladbach, while winning 12 of the last 13 played at home.
