Kai Havertz has been linked with several European giants following his outstanding individual campaign last year, and even though the transfer window has slammed shut, the 20-year-old continues to be tipped to leave Bayer Leverkusen.
The attacking midfielder netted 20 times for the Bundesliga side in all competitions and attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid as a result.
However, Leverkusen managed to keep hold of their star man, who has already scored his first goal of the current campaign.
Arsenal, Liverpool and City have all continued to be linked with a move for the highly-rated youngster, and Leverkusen’s sporting director, Simon Rolfes, has been asked about the creative midfielder’s future.
Talking to Bild, cited by the Manchester Evening News, Rolfes refused to be drawn on the speculation linking the German with a move to England.
I am not interested in that. It only elicits a weary smile from me.
So could the highly-rated attacking midfielder be on his way to the Premier League in the next 12 months?

We personally think he’ll make the move away from Leverkusen, but we won’t be surprised if he doesn’t make the move to England.
Both Dortmund and Munich are known for landing Bundesliga’s top talents, and if either side launches a lucrative summer move, Havertz could well decide to remain in his native country.
He’s shown he can be one of the Bundesliga’s top talents over the past 18 months, and still at a fairly young age, he may not want to travel abroad just yet.
If they don’t, then the Gunners, the Reds and City all have a great chance of securing the star’s services. However, one thing is for sure, the 20-year-old will come at an extremely high price.
