According to a report from French outlet L’Equipe, Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham joined Borussia Dortmund in making an offer for Eduardo Camavinga in the summer.

The 16-year-old has already made himself a regular member of the Rennes first team and as such, the Ligue 1 side rejected offers from the three aforementioned teams, as well as bids from Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

L’Equipe report that some clubs were also offering a two-year loan back to the French outfit, but they were unwilling to accept any offers for him.

It’s unclear if Dortmund will go back in for Camavinga during the January transfer window, but they’ll likely be facing some serious competition if they do.

Arsenal and Tottenham both have track records of investing in young players and it remains likely that they’ll still be interested in the teenager in the future so it won’t be easy for Dortmund to get their man if he does become available.
