Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined the race to sign Philipp Max from FC Augsburg, with Liverpool, Newcastle United and Barcelona having already been linked with the German.
According to Soccer Link, the Ligue 1 champions have expressed an interest in landing the 26-year-old this summer.
Max, who is capable of operating both at left-back or in an advanced role on the flank, has courted attention ahead of the 2019/20 campaign, and it seems he will not be short of offers should he decide to leave Augsburg.
PSG appear to be in with a strong chance of recruiting the player if Soccer Link is to be believed. It is claimed that he has ‘responded favourably’ to the prospect of linking up with his compatriot Thomas Tuchel in the current transfer window.
Max made 30 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, contributing with four goals and four assists, evidently catching the eye of several clubs across Europe ahead of next term.
