Arsenal look set to lose forward Xavier Amaechi to the Bundesliga this summer, according to reports.

Goal claim that after widespread speculation about his future, the player is close to completing a move to head to the Bundesliga.

Amaechi has been heavily linked with a move away from the club with just one year remaining on his current contract.

Having shown no signs of committing to a new deal at the Emirates, the player will now move on in a bid to pursue first-team football elsewhere.

Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have previously been linked with deals to sign the player, but he may want to pursue a club that can offer him regular first-team football.

He’ll be looking to emulate the likes of Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson by heading to Germany and impressing in a first-team environment.

Amaechi could follow Emile Smith Rowe, with the Arsenal youngster also being linked with a loan move to the Bundesliga.
