Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are thought to be in discussions with Barcelona over a £38 million move for Brazilian winger Malcolm, according to Goal.
The 22-year-old looks likely to leave the Nou Camp this summer, 12 months after joining from French side Bordeaux.
Premier League trio Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have all been heavily linked with a move for the skilful wide man this summer, so Dortmund’s interest comes as a surprise.
Malcom has a staggering £160 million release clause in his current deal, however, following a disappointing first season with the Catalan giants, Barcelona are willing to cash in on the player for a fee around £38 million, a similar figure to which they brought the player for.
The wide man made just six starts in La Liga last season, and a move to Dortmund could well be a realistic option, especially with the two sides enjoying a good transfer relationship in recent years.
