Wolfsburg have joined RB Leipzig in the race to land Arsenal forward Emile Smith Rowe on loan this summer.
According to The Independent, Wolfsburg have enquired about a potential deal for Smith Rowe, as a host of clubs look to sign him in the coming weeks.
The report claims that clubs from the Premier League and Championship have made it clear to Arsenal that they would be interested in signing him on a season-long loan.
Smith Rowe spent the second-half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan to Leipzig in the Bundesliga, but injuries prevented him from racking up more than 28 minutes of action.
The talented midfielder is set to return from his injury next month, but could be forced to decide before then – due to the Premier League transfer window closing in just over two weeks.
However, he could reject a Premier League switch and hold off on a move to the Bundesliga.
