Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku has delayed his proposed €15 million move to RB Leipzig.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, cited by GFFN, the 21-year-old has held off signing a deal with the Bundesliga side due to hearing of interest from Arsenal.
Nkunku is now waiting to see if the Gunners will firm up their interest with a concrete move, which could see the French star choose London over Leipzig.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium previously, however, a move has never materialised and the PSG midfielder remained at the Parc des Princes.
Nkunku looks certain to leave the French champions this summer, and following the midfielder holding off due to the Gunners’ interest, Arsenal may well decide to place a formal offer for the player.
The Frenchman has been on the books of PSG since 2010 and has made over 80 senior appearances for the club during his four-year professional stay.
