Borussia Dortmund right-back Jeremy Toljan is said to be closing in on a move to Italian side Sassuolo.
According to Kicker, via The Mirror, Toljan is poised to join Sassuolo from Dortmund, with the German club prepared to sell him.
The report claims that Toljan is on the verge of joining Sassuolo on a loan deal, but the move will include the option for him to join the Serie A side permanently at the end of next season.
Toljan spent the season half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan to Celtic in Scotland, but failed to impress under Brendan Rodgers or Neil Lennon.
He played 10 league matches for the club, failing to score and racking up one assist, as Celtic clinched the title.
The 24-year-old now looks set to leave Dortmund after two years at the club, having joined from fellow German side Hoffenheim in 2017 for an undisclosed fee.
