Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig are thought to be keen on rivalling Premier League giants Liverpool in the race to land Fulham youngster Harvey Elliott.
According to the Evening Standard, cited by the Metro, Leipzig and Liverpool, along with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, are all interested in the midfielder this summer.
The 16-year-old burst onto the first-team scene at Craven Cottage last season, making his senior debut against Millwall in the Carabao Cup.
Elliott then went on to create Premier League history, becoming the youngest ever player at the age of 16 years and 30 days against Wolves back in May.
Following the Cottagers’ relegation back to the Championship, Elliott is yet to pen new terms at Craven Cottage, with sides across Europe monitoring the teenager’s situation.
A move to Germany with Leipzig could be of interest to Elliott, however, Fulham will be hoping that if the player does decide to leave, that he will make the move to Merseyside, which would see the London side receive a significant compensation package.
