Bayern Munich have joined Premier League side Arsenal in the race to sign Yannick Carrasco this summer.
According to Bild, via The Evening Standard, Bayern are eyeing up a deal to bring Carrasco back to Europe ahead of next season.
Carrasco is currently plying his trade in China, following his move from Atletico Madrid in 2018.
The Belgian international has scored 11 goals in 31 games in China, after 23 goals in 123 games for Atletico Madrid in Spain. He started his career in Monaco, where he scored 20 goals in 105 games.
Carrasco has also been capped 31 times by Belgium, scoring five goals for his country.
Bayern are said to be showing an interest in Carrasco due to Manchester City not wanting to sell Leroy Sane this summer. The report also claims that PSG’s Julian Draxler and RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner are targets for Bayern as they weigh up their options.
Wingers Bayern could target
Bayern could look to bring the Spanish winger over to Germany from Real Madrid, following Eden Hazard’s move to the club.
Bayern have been heavily linked with a move for Hudson-Odoi, although Hazard’s exit from Chelsea could be an issue.
Bayern could look to prize Chiesa away from Fiorentina after a number of impressive seasons with the Italian club.
The Turkish winger has been a star for Roma in recent years and could be a very shrewd signing for Bayern next season.
