Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny has completed a loan move to join Schalke for the 2019-20 season.
Paul Joyce reports that the player will join up with the former Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner in Germany.
Kenny has struggled to break through at Goodison Park recently and could find game time easier to come by in Germany.
The defender now becomes the latest England youngster to head to the Bundesliga in a bid to make a name for himself at a senior level.
He is currently with the England U21 squad and will head to Germany after the European Championships.
The likes of Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson have found success in Germany, with the latter hoping to break through at Arsenal next season following his spell with Hoffenheim.
