Both Leroy Sane and Callum Hudson-Odoi are on Bayern Munich’s transfer wishlist as they look to strengthen for next season.
The Bundesliga champions have been interested in the Chelsea youngster for the past few months and made an offer for the player in January that was turned down.
Manchester City winger Sane will be wanting first-team minutes again after falling down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola and a move to Germany could be on the cards.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge spoke to Bild, as cited by The Daily Mail, about Sane and where they stand in terms of a deal. He said:
We will try. I can’t promise whether it will succeed. We already had the idea when he was still with Schalke.
But at that time we did not have a guaranteed regular place for him. Robben and Ribery were top of the top three years ago. There have not been any talks so far. He’s an interesting player, we will try.
Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery both signed off their Bayern Munich careers with a goal apiece and another league title against Eintracht Frankfurt in the final game of the season, but now the German champions must look for replacements.
