Leicester City have been linked with a shock move for Dutch midfielder Arjen Robben.

According to the Mail, odds have shortened on the former Bayern Munich man joining the Foxes, with his deal at the German champions set to expire this season.

The midfielder could play his final game for the Bavarian giants this weekend, with Bayern taking on RB Leipzig in the German cup final.

Robben enjoyed a brilliant career at Bayern, winning multiple Bundesliga titles, and securing the Champions League in 2013.

However, any move could be stopped if Robben decides to retire.

The 35-year-old had hinted he could call time on his career after he leaves Bayern.

Robben previously told the BBC:

It is not an easy decision to make. If you decide that you are going to keep playing, you have to find a place where everything is just right, not just in terms of football but also for my family.

It is an option, but I don’t know whether it will happen.

Leicester could be looking to add some experience to their midfield, with Robben having played at the top level of the game.

Brendan Rodgers could make a shock move to sign Robben, and bring him back to the Premier League.

The Dutchman previously enjoyed a spell with Chelsea in England.
