Bayer Leverkusen are lining up a summer swoop for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic following Fulham’s return to the Championship.
According to German outlet Sport Bild, Leverkusen are interested in a deal to bring Mitrovic over to Germany following his impressive performances this season.
Despite Fulham finishing 19th in the Premier League and sealing their return to the second tier of English football, Mitrovic caught the eye with his displays up front and is now attracting interest from the Bundesliga.
Mitrovic managed to score 11 Premier League goals for Fulham, along with three assists, after scoring 12 goals in 20 Championship appearances for the club during the second-half of the 2017/18 campaign.
The report claims that Fulham are ready to sell Mitrovic for a fee in the region of €20m
Leverkusen are said to be looking to improve their options in the final third and view Mitrovic as a potential player to lead their line next season.
