Premier League outfits Newcastle United and Everton, along with Scottish giants Celtic, are all keeping tabs on Wolfsburg teenager Charles-Jesaja Herrmann, according to Turkish-Football.
The 19-year-old has caught the eye across Europe this season after his dazzling campaign with Wolfsburg’s Under-19 side.
In 25 appearances, Herrmann has found the back of the net 12 times and has provided seven assists.
That form has alerted the British trio, who are all monitoring the player’s situation ahead of the summer window.
Herrmann, who was born in Germany to Ghanian parents, has seven caps for Germany’s Under-19 side and is thought to be open to the possibility of joining a club offering first-team football next season.
Standing at 6ft 2in, the teenager is regarded by many in Germany as a future star and already has three goals for his country at youth level.
The powerful forward has a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2022, so Newcastle, Everton or Celtic may have to place a large offer if they want to secure Herrmann’s services this summer.
