Arsenal have been targeting Lille forward Nicolas Pepe but they have been priced out of a move for him, according to GFFN in France.
The Lille starman, who is also wanted by Bayern Munich, has been on fine form all season and he is fast becoming one of the most-sought-after attackers in world football.
The 23-year-old has been one of the standout players in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 20 and assisting 11 from his 35 league appearances.
Arsenal have been rumoured to be interested in the Ivory Coast international for some time now.
But now his stock has risen even further after a fine season with interested parties emerging from all across Europe.
One club said to be interested in Pepe is Bayern Munich and the increased competition for his signature has meant Arsenal have been priced out of a move for the winger:

GFFN went onto say that Arsenal’s budget this summer will be restricted, and more realistic targets for the Gunners will be Ryan Fraser and David Neres.
Pepe would be a great marquee signing for Bayern Munich. Given that Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben are both set to leave the club, they need a new winger to come in and take on their mantle.
