Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal target Leandro Trossard could be available for just €20 million this summer, the player’s agent has indicated.
The winger was linked with a move to the Bundesliga giants earlier on in the year, and he has since continued to impress in the top flight of Belgian football with KRC Genk.
Trossard has been in fine form. He has scored 22 goals in all competitions and has also contributed with 10 assists for his side.
Speculation has gathered regarding a possible summer move for the 24-year-old, with Arsenal understood to be accompanying Dortmund in their admiration of the player.
Josy Comhair, who represents Trossard, spoke to Het Nieuwsblad, as cited in a report from Squawka, and alluded to how his client may be on the move this summer.
The agent hinted that a move to Germany could be of interest to the Belgian, but joining Arsenal may also be an option, with a €20 million offer seemingly likely to tempt Genk into selling their star man.
There is no agreement with any club yet. But I think that Germany is a beautiful country for him. You can take it one step higher via Germany.
Because with Arsenal you are immediately at the highest level and you can almost only go down. But yes, it can also be Arsenal.
If you sell [Wilfred] Ndidi [to Leicester City] for €17 million, you can sell Leandro for 20, you know. For less than €20 million you don’t have Leandro.
Stay at Genk
