Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly in the race to complete a deal for FC Lorient youngster Alexis Claude-Maurice.
According to a report from L’Equipe, as cited by GFFN, the Bundesliga outfit are among a host of clubs who have established an interest in luring the player away from the Ligue 2 side this season.
Claude-Maurice has been in good form for Lorient. He has found the net on 13 occasions in the second tier of French football, contributing with a further three assists.
It is claimed that Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach would be keen to bring the 20-year-old to the Bundesliga, while Ligue 1 pair LOSC Lille and AS Monaco are also interested.
Ouest-France, whose claims are also covered in GFFN‘s report, indicates that there is interest from La Liga duo Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad, also.
The French news outlet states that Arsenal are watching the €10 million-rated attacker in action for Lorient, who sold Matteo Guendouzi to the Gunners during the summer transfer window last year.
