Manchester City scouts were in attendance to watch Eintrachy Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic during the club’s Europa League tie against Benfica on Thursday night.
Jovic, on loan from Benfica, has excelled in the Bundesliga this season, and is currently the second highest goalscorer with 17 goals to his name.
Such has his form been impressive, that Jovic has attracted attention from a number of top European clubs, who are keen to lure him away in the summer.
And according to a report from Football.London, City director Txiki Begiristain was in attendance to watch the 21-year old forward, who scored against his parent club in a 4-2 loss.
City will face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea for Jovic signature, with the Blues also said to be keen on signing the Serbia international.
