Germany has been the place to go for a number of young Premier League talents searching for consistent first team football in recent years, with opportunities in the Bundesliga seemingly easier to come by for younger players than in England’s top flight.

The obvious example to pick out is Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, who is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world at the moment.

The 18-year-old has been given the chance that many young English players in the Premier League dream of by Dortmund, and the winger has been one of the standout players in the Bundesliga this season following his move from Manchester City in 2017.

Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen is another who impressed during his two-year loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach, and the defender was named as the club’s player of the year in his two season’s in Germany.

Christensen, however, has struggled for consistent first team football since returning to Chelsea from his loan, as has Everton’s Ademola Lookman who enjoyed a fruitful season with RB Leipzig.

And following the success the likes of Sancho, Lookman and Christensen had in the Bundesliga, we’ve identified five young players from the Premier League who could be looking for a move to Germany this summer.
