Manchester United must finish inside the top four to stand any chance of signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
According to Adrian Kajumba of the Mirror, Sancho has been named as the club’s top priority ahead of the summer transfer window.
The only problem for United is that they must finish inside the top four if they want to try and seal a deal.
Sancho will not come cheap, with the report suggesting bids could come in the region of £100 million.
The added funds provided by Champions League football, as well as the lure it provides will be a huge boost in United’s chances.
A top-four finish looked out of the question under Jose Mourinho, but Ole Gunnar Solskaer has revitalised the club, with United now finding themselves a point above fifth-placed Arsenal.
With all teams on 26 games played, the ball is firmly in United’s court to finish inside the top four and secure Champions League qualification for next season.
