Christian Pulisic is eagerly awaiting Borussia Dortmund’s upcoming Champions League clash with Tottenham.
The two sides meet in arguably the most attractive-looking tie of the last-16, along with Liverpool’s meeting with Bayern Munich.
Dortmund are flying at present, leading the Bundesliga by seven points, while Spurs are right back in the Premier League title race.
Pulisic will get used to playing Spurs regularly when he joins rivals Chelsea in the summer, but for now he is focusing on the two Champions League games for Dortmund.
The American superstar told Bundesliga.com that he cannot wait to face Mauricio Pochettino’s men, with much entertainment predicted:
I think it’s going to be a really attacking, flowing game.
Obviously they [Spurs] are a good team and so are we, so it’s going to be a really good game.
When it comes to the Champions League, now we’re in the knockout rounds anything can happen from here onwards.
We reached our goal of getting here and now we’ll fight to win every game if we want to go as far as we can.
Dortmund go into the tie as favourites to progress, but it could easily come down to fine margins.
The two teams play an aesthetically-pleasing style of football, so it is definitely one for the neutrals to keep an eye on.
The first leg is at Wembley next Wednesday (February 13th) before the return fixture in Germany on March 5th.
