Manchester City and Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Joshua Kimmich’s situation at Bayern.
According to Bild, as cited on Calciomercato, both teams remain interested in the player with his long-term future in the Bundesliga up in the air.
Kimmich is under contract in Germany until 2023 but that has not stopped the player being linked with big-money moves away from the club.
The versatile German has been a long-term target for Barcelona, while Pep Guardiola has never failed to hide his admiration of Kimmich following his spell in charge of Bayern.
German reports have suggested that Kimmich, who can play either in defence or midfield, could be on the move in the near future.
It follows suggestions that Benjamin Pavard could be on his way to the Bundesliga giants from Stuttgart. It is believed that the Frenchman’s arrival could be the key to allowing Kimmich to move on.
