Liverpool are set to offer youngster Bobby Duncan a new contract, despite the fact that he only joined the club in the summer.
Duncan, the cousin of Steven Gerrard, has been in great form for Liverpool’s youth sides, as proved by the fact that he scored four goals as the Reds U18s defeated Middlesbrough 6-5 in a great game earlier today.
As reported by The Times, as cited by Football365, Liverpool are aware that some German clubs are interested in the 17-year-old and as such, they’d like to offer him a new deal to ensure that his future lies at Anfield.
Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig have both been keeping tabs on the England U17 international and are though to be interested in taking him to the Bundesliga, where he could follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho, who has excelled since moving to Germany.
Duncan joined the Reds from Manchester City in the summer and is said to be happy at Liverpool, where he’s been able to train with the first team.
