Chelsea and Bayern Munich target Nabil Fekir is expected to leave Lyon at the end of the season.
As per reports in France from L’Equipe, the playmaker is expected to depart the Ligue 1 side after missing out on a move to the Premier League in the previous summer window.
Liverpool may yet choose to re-enter the race for the World Cup winner, although all reports from Merseyside suggest there is no current interest in signing Fekir.
Competition could be rife for Fekir though if teams decide they are not overly concerned about the knee injuries that initially put Jürgen Klopp’s side off from signing him.
Chelsea and Bayern are now believed to be leading the race to sign him from Lyon, with the Blues named among the favourites to sign the player.
The player was all-but set to join Liverpool over the summer before the deal collapsed at the last minute.
