Nabil Fekir is one of the hottest prospects in European football, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich the latest clubs to be linked with the player.
The Frenchman caught the eyes of clubs from all over the continent in the 2017-18 season, and Liverpool were on the brink of signing him in a £50+ million deal in the summer.
However, concerns regarding the World Cup winner’s knees meant that Liverpool pulled out of the negotiations at the eleventh hour, despite having interviewed Fekir for the club website and photographed him in a home shirt.
Supposedly now out of the running for the Lyon star, reports have suggested Chelsea are now in pole position to land the 25-year-old.
The Blues are not alone in their interest of Fekir, however. German giants Bayern Munich would also like to add the Lyon-native to their squad.
With the titans of European football set to compete for the services of Nabil Fekir, Chelsea may have to flex all of their financial might to bring the attacking midfielder to Stamford Bridge.
