Bayern Munich and Manchester United target Milan Skriniar is seeing contract talks stall with Inter due to his wage demands.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Calciomercato, the Serie A side want to offer the player a new deal to ward off potential suitors.
The two parties have reportedly been in talks for some time, but it is being claimed that Skriniar’s demands are too high.
Inter will be hopeful of securing a deal, with the reports claiming that both sides are aiming to strike some form of agreement.
Both Bayern and Manchester United have been linked with the player after an impressive start to the season with Inter.
Jose Mourinho is keen to add to his defence in the January window and has reportedly shortlisted Skriniar, as well as Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli.
Skriniar has emerged as one of the most dominant defenders in Europe this season and Inter are keen to tie him down before interest mounts further.
