Tottenham are reportedly hoping to utilise Davinson Sanchez as part of their efforts to beat Manchester City to Matthijs de Ligt.
According to Sport, as cited on Sport Witness, Spurs are interested in signing the in-demand defender, who has attracted interest from Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City recently.
City are said to have made a €60 million offer for the player, but Mauricio Pochettino’s men have a plan in place.
Spurs signed Sanchez from Ajax and they hope that the player’s rise in the Premier League could swing de Ligt in their favour.
As well as that, the two played together while at Ajax and would certainly be tipped to start alongside one another if the Dutchman made the move to the Premier League.
With the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona in the running, Spurs will need to pull out all the stops if they want to stand any chance of signing the promising young defender.
