Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have all been credited with an interest in signing Mexican winger Hirving Lozano.
According to reports in Spain, both Atletico and Barcelona sitting at the front of the queue for the winger, with the latter believed to be in contact with the player’s agents over a deal.
However, both United and Dortmund are interested in a deal to sign the player who impressed during the World Cup.
Lozano was widely expected to move on during the summer, but the Dutch side have managed to retain his services for now.
Barcelona were heavily linked with a move, while Premier League side Everton were also believed to be hopeful of signing him before interest began to mount.
He caught the eye in what was his first season in Dutch football, scoring an impressive 17 goals in 29 appearances.
Atletico are keen to strengthen in wide areas and have shortlisted Lozano and Fiorentina’s Giovanni Simeone, the son of manager Diego Simeone.
