Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich have all been dealt a blow in their pursuit of defender Benjamin Pavard, with claims that he has been offered to Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona could swoop in and seal a deal for the defender.
The report claims that a potential deal for Barcelona would set the club back €35 million.
The versatile defender, who rose to prominence with several impressive performances during France’s World Cup-winning campaign, has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool in recent weeks.
Pavard has recently been forced to deny claims that he has already agreed to join Bayern, with his focus said to be remaining on Stuttgart.
The right-back position has been a space that Barcelona have struggled to fill since the departure of Dani Alves.
Sergi Roberto has been used as a makeshift defender in recent years to some success but is naturally a midfielder, as Barcelona look to strengthen at the back.
