Danny Rose has reportedly rejected the chance to join Schalke on loan as an exit from Tottenham looms.
The London Evening Standard reports that the England international has turned down a move to Germany, with Paris Saint-Germain now emerging as his most likely option.
Rose is said to be open to joining the Ligue 1 champions, with the French club actively searching for a new left-back.
They have been linked with both Marcos Alonso and Filipe Luis, but Rose could be considered a cheaper option for the club.
The player was named on the bench against Fulham over the weekend, but his long-term future does appear to be away from the club.
Spurs are open to moving the player on, having been linked with moves away from the London club in the past.
Manchester United were long-term admirers of the defender, but their interest in a deal has reportedly cooled.
