Former Stoke midfielder Stephen Ireland is discussing a possible move to the German Bundesliga, according to MailOnline.
The 31-year old former Republic of Ireland international left Stoke at the end of last season and has interested a number of Bundesliga clubs.
While he is open to a move abroad, he also has interest from a number of English sides.
Given that he is a free agent, the former Aston Villa and Manchester City man can sign for a new club outside of the confines of the transfer window.
Last season Ireland made just five appearances for the Potters, having recovered from a serious injury, but is now fit and ready to compete again.
Ireland had trained with Bolton earlier this summer, but he failed to agree terms on a potential deal with the Championship club.
