Hertha Berlin want to sign Manchester United youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah, according to the Daily Mail.
The promising Dutch defender spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace but could be set for another temporary switch away from Old Trafford, as Hertha line up a deal for the player.
Fosu-Mensah, who can play in central defence and at right-back, has often been tipped for big things after emerging through the United youth ranks to impress when called upon in the club’s first-team.
However, it seems Jose Mourinho could opt to send Fosu-Mensah out on loan once again to allow the defender a greater chance of regular first-team football.
Hertha Berlin are on the lookout for added defensive reinforcements and it seems Fosu-Mensah has emerged as a key target for Pal Dardai ahead of the Bundesliga season.
Fosu-Mensah played regularly for Mourinho during United’s pre-season fixtures but it appears as though the young Dutchman is not in the Red Devils boss’ plans for the 2018/19 campaign.
