Bayern Munich are monitoring French forward Anthony Martial in preparation of launching a bid for the player next year, according to reports by Mail Online.
With the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and impressive performances from Jesse Lingard, it appears that Martial has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United and could potentially be heading for the exit door.
It is believed that Bayern Munich are among the current favourites to land the 22-year-old who was left out of France’s 23-man squad ahead of their World Cup-winning campaign.
United are reportedly willing to sell Martial this summer as he does not appear to have a major role in Mourinho’s plans going forward. However, Bayern are reportedly planning to bid for the French star next year and will use the time in between to watch the player’s situation closely.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the player, but any deal would be dependent on United’s interest in Brazilian winger Willian.
