New Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui has reportedly set his sights on Bayern Munich pair Thiago and Robert Lewandowski.
According to a report from Don Balon, the Bayern Munich players are two of five key transfer targets.
The remaining transfer targets are said to be David De Gea, José María Gimenez and Alvaro Odriozola, with Lopetegui aiming to put his own stamp on the Madrid side.
Lewandowski has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid, who missed out on the chance to sign him when he originally joined Bayern from Dortmund.
Thiago has impressed for Bayern during his time there, but signing a former Barcelona player is not going to be easy for the new Madrid boss.
It was confirmed earlier this week that it will be Lopetegui who will replace Zinedine Zidane.
Originally, Lopetegui was due to join Real Madrid following the World Cup. However, Madrid’s early announcement has cost Lopetegui his job with the Spanish national team.
