Premier League side Tottenham have joined Bayern Munich in the race to sign Florian Thauvin from Marseille this summer.
Reports from RMC, as cited by Shields Gazette claim that the London outfit are keen on bringing the Frenchman back to the Premier League.
The former Newcastle flop has enjoyed a sensational season with the Ligue 1 side, playing a key role in the club reaching the Europa League final.
Despite his failings at Newcastle, his performances have caught the attention of Bayern and Atletico Madrid, who are also said to be interested in the player.
Thauvin scored an impressive 25 goals in all competitions for Marseille, while he also registered another 13 assists for his teammates.
The French side will be desperate to keep hold of the player, who has been such an instrumental figure in their success.
However, they also stand to make a huge profit on the £10 million they spent to re-sign the player from Newcastle.
