Stoke City player Kevin Wimmer is in talks to join Hannover 96 after a disappointing spell at the Bet365 Stadium.
Austrian international Kevin Wimmer joined Stoke City from Spurs last summer for £18m but he has had a poor season making just 19 appearances and last played for the Potters in January.
Wimmer was put on a special training programme by boss Paul Lambert as he did not think the 25-year-old was fit enough.
Stoke will spend the summer preparing for life in the Championship after they were relegated. It was a very poor season for the Potters and many big players look set to leave the club including Shaqiri and Butland.
A decision is yet to be made over boss Paul Lambert, who waits to hear his fate.
