Borussia Dortmund have joined Inter Milan, Chelsea, Tottenham and Celtic in the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb defender, Filip Benkovic.
According to Calciomercato, due to Dortmund’s increased interest, Inter are now feeling the pressure to sign the centre-back and are wary of the competition that they will face getting his signature.
Reports are saying that Inter are still identifying the Croatian as one of their main targets to land in the summer.
The 20-year-old has made 29 appearances this season for Zagreb, the club he has been at all of his career. His consistently impressive performances have earnt him a value of €20 million.
Dortmund are hoping to strengthen their defence this summer as Arsenal are rumoured to be interested in centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
They also sold Spanish central defender Marc Bartra to Real Betis back in the January transfer window, so they are in need of some more depth in strength at the back.
