German side Stuttgart have quashed all rumours that Benjamin Pavard will be leaving the club this summer with Premier League giants Tottenham and Liverpool both interested in the player, as reported by ESPN.
Pavard has become a vital part of the German side in recent months, not missing a single minute of the last 41 matches in all competitions.
He has also recently won his first cap for the French national team due to his rapid progression.
Earlier this month, Tottenham sent scouts to watch the player after being impressed with a number of his performances, while Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all been linked with the player too
The club’s management feel that their player would be better off continuing his development in Stuttgart rather than at another club.
Stuttgart’s Sporting Executive Michael Reschke spoke about the situation of his player in a recent interview explaining what he thinks should happen:
We are the ideal club for him right now and he feels that. If, in the future, a club from Europe’s top 10 shows real interest, we’ll sit down. Benjamin and his agent are aware of it. But if this summer a club believes they can sign him for €30 million, this club is profoundly wrong. We wouldn’t even open the door for such a talk.
