Arturo Vidal continues to be linked with a summer move away from Bayern Munich but the midfielder has revealed himself that his future is uncertain to say the least.
With Bayern bringing in Leon Goretzka from Schalke in the summer, Vidal has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena to make way for the Germany international, with both Manchester United and Chelsea keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
Speaking to German sports magazine Kicker, as quoted by the Metro, Vidal confirmed he doesn’t know if he will stay at Bayern and sign a new contract, or if Goretzka will replace him in the team.
I know Goretzka will arrive at the club but I don’t know where he will be playing. As for my future I don’t know if I will leave or sign a contract extension with the club. We’ve taken the right path anyway
The 30-year-old is contracted to Bayern until the end of next season and Vidal confirms his desire to remain in European football until he is 37 as he plans on spending the final year of his career back in Chile with his first club, Colo Colo.
I am ready to play in Europe until I am 37, then I want to return to Chile and play the last year of my career with Colo Colo.
