Talented young Anderlecht midfielder Eliot Matazo is one of the brightest young prospects in Belgian football right now and after turning 16 last week, he was eligible to sign a first professional contract with Anderlecht.

However, Voetbal Belgie claims that the teenager has turned down that proposal from the Belgian club and plans to leave in the summer when his youth contract expires, and he’s not short of suitors.

The report claims that Bundesliga quartet Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Red Bull Leipzig and Schalke are all interested in signing Matazo on a free transfer.

Capped eight times by Belgium at U16 level and captain of his youth international side, Matazo is a central midfielder who primarily operates in a holding role.

Not short of suitors, Matazo is also wanted by Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City in the summer as he looks set to join one of the top academy setups in world football.
