Christian Pulisic is widely regarded as one of the best young forwards in world football today and he is being courted by some of Europe’s top clubs.
Liverpool have been the most keen on the USMNT star, with the Reds having an £11m bid rejected in the summer of 2016 but have since made a number of scouting checks on the winger, but another Premier League side are ready to enter the race.
The Independent report that Manchester United will go in for Pulisic if and when Liverpool show their hand and renew their interest in the 19-year-old.
Signed by Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund in 2015, Pulisic has risen through the ranks to establish himself as a regular in the Bundesliga, with 11 goals and 14 assists in 78 career appearances to date.
It’s believed that Manchester United not only value him on the pitch, but recognise his huge commercial potential in North America, being the biggest star to emerge for the USA in their history.
A January move remains highly unlikely, but both Manchester United and Liverpool could be tempted into a bid at the end of the season.
