Jann-Fiete Arp is regarded as one of the best young strikers in European football right now after a stellar last 18 months.
After scoring 28 goals in 25 games for Hamburg’s youth side last season, Arp netted seven goals at the European Under-17 Championships in the summer which helped fuel a first-team push this season.
Last month, Arp became the first millennial to score in the Bundesliga when the 17-year-old scored in a 2-1 defeat to Hertha Berlin and some of Europe’s biggest clubs are beginning to take notice.
German source Bild, as cited by Sport Witness, claim that Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing the striker, while Juventus are also in the mix along with Chelsea who have been chasing the striker for a number of months.
Chelsea submitted a lucrative offer to sign the teenager during the summer transfer window but the teenage striker decided to stay at Hamburg where he has a better chance of playing every week in a top European league and it’s a decision that’s paying dividends.
