Borussia Dortmund look to be preparing for life without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and have identified Olivier Giroud as the perfect man to replace the Gabon international should he leave.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from the club in recent times, with Dortmund reportedly offering him to Chelsea for a huge fee of £70m.
The Blues are in need of a new striker, with Diego Costa not in Antonio Conte’s plans and with a move for target Romelu Lukaku falling through.
However, Dortmund are keeping themselves ahead of the game and according to Bild, have picked out Arsenal forward Giroud as the perfect candidate to come in if they let go of their star man.

Giroud is sure to find consistent game-time hard to come by at the Emirates this season, with the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette only forcing him further down the pecking order.
