James Rodriguez has faced an uncertain future at Real Madrid for some time now, but it appears that this will be the summer that he completes a transfer away from the Bernabeu.

The Colombian playmaker has many suitors, with both Manchester United and Chelsea said to be interested in signing him, along with Inter Milan, but according to Jose Luis Sanchez, the midfielder would like to work with Carlo Ancelotti again, seemingly suggesting he’d like to join Bayern Munich this summer.

Ancelotti was the man who brought him to Real Madrid back in 2014 and he enjoyed a great time under the Italian who is now the manager of Bayern.

Bayern are said to be willing to allow both Douglas Costa and Renato Sanches leave the club this summer which does open up a spot in the midfield at the Allianz Arena should the Bundesliga champions fancy making a move for the former Monaco star.

Sanchez also revealed (h/t the Express), that Arsenal have recently had a bid rejected for the attacking midfielder as it fell just short of their £69.8m valuation.
