Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all shown an interest in former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.
Hernandez, aka Chicharito, only joined Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, but an impressive start to the season has led to speculation about his future, and he didn’t exactly do much to dampen any talk of a move with his recent comments.
I do not know if I will play next season at Bayer. In this sport, it does not matter if you sign a contract for ten years or ten times to extend one year.
It is no surprise that the 27-year-old is catching the eye of clubs across Europe. He’s scored 11 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season and also found the net five times in six Champions League Group Stage games.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs have all been linked with moves for various forward players in the past few weeks and all three look like they could benefit from adding another goalscorer to their ranks as they look to have a strong second-half to their seasons.
