Arturo Vidal has endured a disappointing season at Bayern Munich and there was talk in January that he could be on his way to Chelsea, a move he snubbed in order to focus on winning some silverware, but he could leave the Bundesliga leaders at the end of the season.

Reports from German magazine Kicker suggested that following the impending arrival of Leon Goretzka from Schalke, Bayern will need to offload one of their current midfielders, suggesting that either Thiago Alcantara or Vidal will be the one who is sold.

Bild journalist Christian Falk has shared that it is likely to be Vidal who is offloaded to make room for Goretzka, who is understood to have turned down Liverpool in order to sign for Bayern.

Vidal himself hinted that a summer move could be on the cards for him when last month he revealed he will wait and see what happens after this season, and both Chelsea and Manchester United are keen to sign the Chilean who is valued at £53m.
